The following vacuum sealers are from FoodSaver.com. I only posted their top 3 models of the 12 different models that they produce. This company has been making consumer vacuum sealers for over 20 years. I have owned one for the better part of 15 years. I love their machines and their customer service. I have had very little issues with the vacuum sealers that I own. When I did has an issue they were more than happy to help. Mainly replace the main sealer gasket. I am currently up to my third machine. Not because that was wrong with my old ones but because I wanted to upgrade. I gave away my prior two machines which were in perfect working order.
Currently, I own their 5800 series machine which works great. I cannot express this enough. EVERYONE should own a vacuum sealer. It does not matter if you are one person or a huge family. Not only do these machines save you money but you can do some great things with the food that you vacuum seal. Their machines can be used for canning as well as vacuum sealing food for the fridge. They are also great for storing important documents to protect them from the elements.
I will be posting recipes that REQUIRE you to have access to a vacuum sealer. I promise that you will not regret owning one of these machines.
